Originally the residence of Louisiana native T. Black, The Cajun has been masterfully renovated by local craftsmen and artists. A whimsical mural of cherry blossoms and magical creatures adorns the walls of the living room. 

The cabin contains a fully-equipped kitchen, sitting room with queen-sized fold-out sofa bed, breakfast nook, bathroom with shower, private bedroom with queen bed, and attached porch. The Cajun can accommodate up to 4 guests. Additional nightly fees apply for more than 2 guests.

  • 15% discount on stays of 7 nights or more (automatically applied at time of booking).
  • We require a two-night minimum stay.
  • Base rates do not include local and state taxes. All taxes and fees are included in online quotes.
  • Rates are fixed, based on 1 or 2 guests. A fee of $35/person/night will be included for additional guests above 2.
  • Full payment is due upon booking in order to secure the reservation.
  • We are unable to “hold” cabins without payment.

Before booking, please read our policies . Also, our property and cabins are quite unique, with a (friendly) dog and kids running around daily. Due to the delicate art in each cabin, we are not suited for kids under the age of 12 (the Boathouse only accepts adults).
Booking Information
Reservations and Payment: The full payment is due at the time of the booking. Use the "book now" feature to book online instantly. We accept debit cards and all major credit cards, except American Express. No cash or checks, please. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of booking online, please contact the Manager at 719.347.1290.

Cancellations: Any cancellations made 30 days or more before your arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 14 to 29 days before your arrival date will result in the loss of 50% of the total payment. Any cancellations made within 13 days of your arrival date will result in the loss of the entire payment. If we are able to re-book the cabin, we will issue a partial or full refund. We make every effort to re-book all cancellations.

Rental Agreement: Upon booking, you will be required to agree to our terms and conditions. Please contact us if you would like a copy of the rental agreement sent to you.

We will not officially be accepting reservations for Summer/Fall 2019 until January 2019. Please contact us if interested in availability in 2019.
